Hi, I'm from Boisbriand, Qc., Can. I recently acquired a 1976 2dr coupe' 76 Aspen. It currently has a 318 in it, but it came with a 440 block. I intend to get it back up and running for now and plan to get the 440 machined and fitted with a stroker kit from 440 source in the future. I've got quite a bit of work ahead of me, but fortunately, the body was very solid and virtually rust free. Right now it is this ugly puke brown primer color, but will most likely be painted black when I can afford it.

Welcome. You'll find plenty of info around here. So rust free '76 in Canada, this is an SE with the half-vinyl top, right?

No, it's not an SE, just the base model 2dr coupe with a 318. Definately no vinyl top. Where do you guys find parts for F body mopars. And don't tell me to get a parts car, Quebec isn't a place where one finds classic cars easily. I so wish I lived in the USA. I'm tired of being told they don't ship to Canada...

What parts are you looking for?
A lot of mechanical parts interchange with earlier A, B, C, or E bodies if they don't interchange with the later M bodies.

Thanks for the info. I'm quite the newbie when it comes to cars and mechanics. I'm wondering why they make catalogs for A,B,C, AND E bodies specifically an don't advertise that certain parts might fit other models. As for what parts I need, I'm not even sure of that yet. The interior had been removed and put in bags and boxes quite a bit of time ago. I know that I'm missing a lot of screws and bolts. Man, some of the trim had been fastened with wood screws and deck screws. All the rubber parts will need to be replaced. Not really critical, but the wiper motor is missing... Seat belts... What else??? I don't know yet... We'll see.

Wiper motor is standard fare for the other bodies too. The linkage is identical to M body. The various fasteners would be tough.
You should probably see if one of these guys on the board will ship anything to Canada or see what Mr-Aspen has.
