Eric,

He states in there he will add actual shipping costs to the winning bid. So Gordie be careful, the shipping could be more than the winning bid.

We could pass them state to state if we had enough members in your direction.

Now that think about it, It would cost me about $50 in gas to go there and back. So I wonder what kind of shipping you get for a $100.

I did a road trip to get mine Gordie. I tried the shipping thing, but the cost was more than the seats. 7 months later after some communication issues and my money already paid (plus $100 shipping paid which was not 1/3 enough for shipping), I met him at the mopar nationals to pick up the seats. I got there the last day of the nationals and had to wipe off all the drull from people that kept wanting to buy them before I got there. I never did get my shipping $ back. But I love the seats and all in all it was worth it. Lee

Well Lee, I would still like to pick up this interior BUT $1500 was just a tad steep!! lol! No wonder he was willing to ship it all for $100!:hammer2:

I was the winning bidder. The seller and I have been in talks for weeks.Actually,I noticed his auction a few weeks back and I spoke to him via phone.I actually gave him some info on the F body Mopars that he wasn't aware of.I gave him info on how to list his auction correctly becuase the first time he listed it,he didn't have a lot of views. After he revised it,it started getting bids but didn't reach the reserve..

With the shipping included yes.He and I are both in the automotive industry. He gets a deep dsicount with the shipping company he uses.He was going to wrap it and ship via pallet.
We agreed to 1400 and he put it on a buy-it-now for me to buy.....

BUT,I decided NOT to purchase. My reasoning is this,I had been asking him for weeks to send me additonal pics so that I could really look at the interior.I asked him about the interior and he said it was fine,on at least one occasion.Based off our conversations and the pics on Ebay we agreed on a price.....
After I bidded he sent pics of the sides of the front buckets...I then contacted him and told him I wanted pics of the front and the back seats NOT the sides of the front buckets.
After he sent me the full pics of the seats I noticed that the back seats had a rip on both sides of the rear seat where the center spectrum colors were sewn in,one of the front buckets has a very small tear which was not a concern to me.

Had the auction listed the tears in the description or the pics reflected the tears,or he just been upfront with me when I asked him about the interior,I wouldn't have purchased it.I pay that kind of price for premium peices and I told him that.He understood and apologized.

We both agreed to cancel the bid and he would send me the console lid as a kind gesture.Heck,If I was aware of the seats condition,in the begining,I may have still purchased the package and sold what I didn't use.
I was going to convert my interior becuase I like the spectrum interior and before I bought the car I now have I was in talks on possibly buying a car with the spectrum interior package but I beleive the person sold the car.

I told him that just becuase something is rare does not make it valuable...I told him that an interior for a second gen Roadrunner brings the kind of pricing for an interior far more than a 78.But I was willing to pay due to the condition.I didnt want to pay that kind of money then have to turn back around to spend more money to have the seats restitched in a few areas..
