I got a decent backup cheap on eBay. Should look there from time to time.

are you looking for stock or aftermarket?
I put one out of a 90s minivan into my 78 Fury; fit the same hole and being taht I got the pigtails off the minivan I made my own stand alone harness for the radio (so I "could" put the original AM radio back in if I ever felt the need)

I dont know if most of you know this but Chrysler used the same mounting brackets for radios for years. i took an" Infinity" deck factory out of a newer chrysler and bolted it into my 77 power Wagon 4x4. My Aspen wagon i think still has the afctory deck. im not sure if it works though

Yup. I did this on both my 78 Fury and my daily driver 83 D 250 pickup; I have a couple late 70s and early 80s AM/FM ones sitting here.
When I did mine I went to the junkyard and cut the wiring pigtails out of a couple "donors" and made up my own wiring harnesses.
Done this many other times too; If you decide to do this get a factory service manual for about any Chrysler or Jeep from the late 80s til ~99 or so; and when you get to the radio wiring diagrams,
be sure to go by the terminal position of what wire does what NOT BY WIRE COLOR going to the plug as there were wire color changes over the years but they never changed the order in the connectors as to which pin does what. Hope that makes sense.
and DO NOT use butt connectors or Scotchloks; unless you want a radio that cuts out intermittently. Take the time to soolder each one in. and heat shrink works better than black tape.

On those 2 I was able to find the ones that had AM FM Cassete AND CD in one unit! I gotta find another one as the CD player skips in the car; but I rarely use it anyway; basically got what I could when I did. it's nice to know I "could" have a CD or tape if I wanted to but my main goal was to add FM capability especially in the Fury;
my truck had a factory AM/FM in it when I got it but no clock. these newer factory radios have clocks built into them.

Frank are you still needing a radio? I have an OEM out of a 77 Volare. We'll figure out a price after we find if it does indeed work. I also believe I have a 79 Aspen radio too.

Hey Frank, any chance I'll get paid for those two radios I sent?
