Hello all im new to this forum and looking for help im looking at a 1977 Road Runner this week. this will be my first old Mopar i grew up with my dad having had a 70 Road Runner,71 340 Duster,and a 72 challenger and grew to love the Mopar muscle but could never get one a a decent price so i have been playing with fox body mustangs and chevys for a long time as well as some chevy muscle car's much easier to find lol. any how this being my very first older mopar im looking to you guys for help in what to look for. The car is here in Pa so i know rust may be present but i dont see it in the pic's one pic is below. car has a running 318 with 4 bbl the guy tells me i know 2bbl is original but what ever i dont care about that as i would do the same with a 4bbl any how i know to look for the fender tag and its numbers like a57 and what not but what over trouble area's should i be looking for. also the guy doesnt have a title for it anyone ever use any place that does this for you with any success? i wanna buy this car bad looks nice and possibly i could drive it this summer and go to shows with my son after of course a good look over. im in north east PA any other guys up here near scranton??

All the old car trouble spots. Floors, frame, quarters, fenders, cowl.
D36 is a 727 trans on the fender tag. The rear should have a gear tag on it. 2.7 was standard.
What's the price first off?

he is asking 800 interior looks mint black buckets column shift car wierd but im sure i can do a quarter stick on the floor if i cant find a stock console shifter and column.

Oh, buckets and column shift. I like column shift myself... Sounds like a decent deal if you can figure out title issues.

im hoping to use someone like broadway title company to get a title $350 and 6 week wait or if anyone knows of a different company.I'm here in Pa if anyone has any info or website they can point me to.

Welcome to the site. I'm sure you will find this site to have all the answers you are looking for. I live in East Concord ,NY that's south of Buffalo in ski country,not exactly around the corner from you but not too far either. Good luck with getting the car.
