Well, I loaded up my 3 kids (who had off for a Catholic holiday) yesterday and took a trip up to meet with fellow member Mopar Brett (and to pick up my newly purchased Aspen). I met Brett at his work and checked out his newly acquired 1978 Roadrunner. Despite all the negative posts the car has gotten, it is a solid car and has a LOT of potential, although like Brett said (and I agree), a blind man could have seen the problem spots. I hope he does decide to fix it up as it is a cool ride. (it does nice burnouts too!)

Anyway, my new Aspen is just as awesome in real life as it looks in the pictures.
Brett on the other hand..........is quite a weird dude. Nahhh, I'm kidding, he is 100% a straight shooter and great guy so don't ever worry when you deal with him. I'm glad i got to meet him in person, Olivia is my youngest and she is the car lover of the 3 kids, so of course when Brett pulled the car out of the garage and onto the trailer she had to ride in it. Hopefully next time we will be able to hang out when we are both not so pressed for time. I feel a possible tri-state area F-body meet in the works.

I have had them for a while and finally installed them. I still have some cleaning and adjustments to do but overall, they feel great. I wish they were the same color as the interior so I may get them recovered. The console is just temporary. It is a 'Walmart' generic console for a pickup truck. I will eventually put a floor shifter in with a factory console (when I find a relatively decent console).
I took it for a drive today, it is amazing how much better the car 'handles' when my hiney isn't sliding around on the bench seat.
