are 77 deck lids different for spoiler install

I was looking at the underside of the trunk lid on my 77. Were the deck lids different for super pak cars? I don`t see the access holes on my non super pak RR.

I believe they were. I had to make access holes in the underside of my deck lid to access the spoiler bolts when I added one. Only the outer 2 holes I had to make, the center 2 bolts are accessed through the existing openings, at least on non-spoiler lids.

My 77 is different from another lid I have. That one has some access on both sides. The one on the car only has a access hole on one side, weird. I`ll take a pic and post it.

Anyone out there that can take a pic of the underside of their lid so I can get a idea where to do put and the size of the access holes?

I have a spare 77 Superpak trunk lid. I'll get a picture tonight and some dimensions for you.

Ok, after marking the location on the top side of the trunk lid about where the studs go, it looks like the oval hole shown on my pic doesn`t come into play. It looks like I have to drill two end holes on the underside. Can you measure the size of the holes on the underside? Also I have one access hole on the underside near the latch plate that I can get a wrench in. It`s on the drivers side. Not shown in my pic. It appears I can get a nut on the stud from that opening in the deck lid. The right side does not have any hole for access. I will have to make one. A measurement of the underside access holes would be awesome. I would like to try and make it look as close too OEM as possible. Thanks

Ok, this is what I have. On the bottom side of the deck lid, there are 4 holes for the hardware. Each hole is 1 inch in diameter. The hole to the left of the vertical slot is 3 inches from the vertical edge and 5 inches from the top horizontal edge. The hole between the latch and horizontal slot is 22-1/2 inches from the vertical edge and 3-1/2 inches from the top horizontal edge. The other two holes are symetrical.
