    Hi Guys and gals.

Just registered. Picked up a 77 Aspen after a trade for a GTO.

Looking forward to sharing and whatnot.

    Happy to be here,

    Steve

Welcome! It's a bit quiet in here recently but hoping things pick up again.

Leaving the 318 (or 360?) in it or are you a glutten for punishment like me and swapping in a big block? Wondering because of your screen name.

    Thanks for the warm welcome!
The car needs some TLC right now as some hack beat the chrome on making huge dents on every single piece of trim. I also get to find or make a headliner and track down some missing interior trim. I'll probably start the junkyard hunt this afternoon and see what's in my immediate area first before I put ads online.
If the little 318 proves worthy, I might leave it in there for a while as I've got my hands full of other projects right now.
I will be putting a go wing and 6 pak scoop on the car soon to complete the "look" the former owner was shooting for.
One thing is for sure, I'm never bored!

Your first source to check is Jim, out in Arizona. He's a member here (fbodydeconstructor) and has lots of clean, south western f-body parts such as trim, sheetmetal, etc. Great guy, VERY reasonable prices. I've never been even slightly disappointed with anything I've gotten from him over the years. Ask anyone here and they'll say the same thing. He's a busy guy so he may not be able to respond right away but he will respond. Of course, being in Phoenix, his inventory of interior trim is sparse. Darn sun.

    This is his website: http://www.jimsazparts.com/

That aluminum trim,,,,,,,,,,the main word to describe removal and installation is GENTLE.

I had a '70 Barracuda Gran Coupe that color waaaaaaaaaay back when (early '80's).

There was a member awhile ago in Edmonton who was building a car and he had a few parts cars. Have not seen a post from him in awhile and can`t remember his user name.

Things always pick up when the snow starts to fly and all the car shows are done for the year.
