    Joke

Ford dealerships are trying something new with the purchase of a new vehicle they will give you a new dog so you don't have to walk home alone

Are you sure it was Ford and not Nissan? LOL At work we seem to get a lot of Nissan's come in "on the hook" (quite often with a ventilated crankcase, if you get my meaning). WAY more than any other make and considering there's far fewer around than Ford's, or Chevy's, Mopars or Toyotas, the percentage of dead one's is unusually high.

Nissan isn't that a boat anchor or some kind of gardening tool

Well, at work I'm pretty much the engine/trans swap guy and this year (going only on memory) I changed engines in 12 Nissan's, 3 older Chevy Silverado's, a couple Hondas, one Toyota, one Saab (good grief) and no Ford's or Mopar's. The only ones made in this century that needed engines were the Nissans. All except one were 2005 or newer. OK, I guess the Toyota was an '03 and made in this century also. How about that Japanese quality? lol All but a couple of the Nissans were grenaded. The others were just plain worn out. Almost forgot the '09 Mercury Mariner (Escape) with a 4 cyl. It had 290,000 miles and had so much blow by it barely ran anymore. Only 2 of the Nissan's had over 100K on them. My advice? Don't buy a Nissan. Wait, buy a Nissan! I like my job and cars like that are called job security!

As far as I'm concerned anything that's not a Mopar is a boat anchor....Lol
