My father was the original owner. He sold it in 1998 to a friend of his because he was strapped for cash. I was heart broken as I thought he would give it to me. It took 13yrs and his friend dying from cancer before his widow offered to sale it back to me. I am now the proud owner of my fathers original 1979 Plymouth Road Runner that he bought after he graduated high school.

Thanks guys. I've currently got the interior torn out for new carpet and the seats to be redone. I'm also working on getting a repaint this fall. The older gentlemen stripped the stripes on it and painted it brown. Not the original Sunfire Metallic Brown that came on it. I was bummed when i first seen it. Oh well a resto is in the works@
