    Default Tranny Slips

So, I took my Roadrunner out of storage last week and the tranny slips like it's filled with butter on the 1-2 shift. it has no kick down cable. Some d!#k just wired the kick down valve to whatever he thought would be good I guess. So my question is whether or not adding a kick down cable would rectify the problem or are the symptoms I described unrelated to "kick down" input?

Worse case senario is that the tranny is fried. Wrong throttle pressure will do that. Ask someone for a 3 piece kickdown set or use the Bouchellon Performance set up. Get a hold of Steve Wilks the tranny man. Supercoupe360+6

It is called Throttle Pressure that connects to aThrottle Valve (TV not Kickdown) in the valvebodie . It is the ONLY input that the transmission sees to how much you are stepping on the Gas.
Without any TV pressure. You will have very early shiftpoints and slips on 2/3 shift (Flair ups). If you drive it this way for to long the trans will BURNUP!
With TV tied in one position your shiftpoints will be at the same MPH everytime, with no passing gear. The farther it is tied back the later the shiftpoints will be.
Install a throttle pressure rod or cable and adjust with simple thing in mind keep adding more pressure until you have reached your desired full throttle upshift point! THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE BOYS!!
