One of the most favorite cars I ever owned, back in the early '90's was a '66 Dart 2 door sedan with exactly one option, the 225 S6 instead of the base 170. Vinyl floor, 3 on the tree, dog dishes, radio delete, etc........(and only 31,000 miles)........ Miss that car.
1979 Aspen Sunrise 500". Bought in 1987 with 72,000 miles and a mighty E24 California emission 90hp leaning tower of power/4-speed
1996 Dakota with a torque monster (not) 3.9L V-6 and automatic owned since 1998. Now demoted to winter duty

My first car was a 1970 Duster that had an am radio and an automatic transmission. The only options..... I do wish I had that car today!

Interesting diagnosis for the AC issue. It appears that the Aeroquip stainless braided nylon line is permeating the R134. When Chuck hit it with a black light the lines lit up end to end. He is going to contact Aeroquip today, at least we know the issue is not with the fittings or seals.........

B3R is just a little busy

My Vette is somewhere in the middle of it. The transmission arrived for the Chevy, so once that is finished I'll swap it with the Dodge so they can repair the AC lines.

You'd think the braided line for A/C would be barrier hose, unless they sent you the wrong stuff. Darn tiny R134a molecules

My bet is the wrong style hose.

That is my thought too -- anxious to hear what Aeroquip told B3R.

That was some expensive hose and special fittings, normal -AN fittings will not work with the AC hose.
