Seems the Aspen is never coming out of the garage................Last week we got 12" of snow one day, then a few more Saturday morning and now,,,,,,,,,,,,another 12" overnight, it's still snowing and "they" say snow all the way through Sunday. Toss in the 30-40 mph wind, temps in the mid 20's and I don't think it could suck any more. Sorry, I had to whine a little. I wanted to go to the bank and grocery store this morning but, it's like the Snicker's commercials "Not going anywhere for awhile?" Grumble, grrrrrrr, complain, moan, gripe.

I thought the same thing when I saw the weather forecast on the news for your area Rich. That's gotta suck. It's just at the point of turn to snow down here right now.

Yeah, this is horrible. I've used my snowblower more in the past couple weeks than I did the entire winter. Just had to go back out and do the front drive again. It was almost totally drifted shut. That wind is relentless up to 40+ mph and the windchill is single digits. Worse is it's blowing the wrong direction, almost straight out of the east. This is the middle of April and not February, right?????????

...................another 10" or so of snow overnight and it STILL isn't done. It's 19 degrees outside but not to fear, there's a nice breeze of 20-30 mph to keep it from being unbearable warm. Sigh...........................

Made the mistake of watching the weather forecast this morning. An additional 8-14" today. COME ON ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENOUGH!

We're a couple days away from wildfire restrictions. No offroading, no fires, no welding, no shooting. I think there is more, but I don't remember what they are. Hoping not to have to evacuate any friends this year.

Snowblowed the driveways 3 times today so far and,,,,,,,,,,,it still hasn't stopped snowing. This is just refrickingdiculous. Why 3 times? If you don't keep up with it and wait for it to end, you're screwed. It'd be so deep and the drifts would be so tall, no mere snowblower would have a chance. At least the wind has died down quite a bit. Looks like the total for this storm, so far, is about 30" or so. That's the biggest snowstorm we've had here, at any time of year, in eons.

    Be careful where you stand!

Hard to believe exactly two weeks ago it was in the 20's, windy and we got 30" of snow (see above post). Trying to block that memory from my mind. Other than where it was piled up, the snow is all gone, the grass is just starting to turn sort of green and the temps are pretty darn decent at long last. This is the coldest April on record and we beat the record April snowfall by a mile. Temp was 20 to 25 degrees below avg and in two snow storms we got 43 inches of that white crap. Good riddance to all of it!
