That would be my thought. Plus once it holds you can "push the pedal" and see if it bleeds away.

The terminal that plugs onto the h/l panel looks similar to the one in the pic. It's hooked to the ground circuit of the dash harness and then the ground wire from the clock plugs onto the male spade...
