I realize it's a Lean Burn engine in the Aspen wagon. But some of the sensors, ported vacuum switches, etc should be the same.

Look at the 78 Aspen wagon being parted out. You will likely find many of the parts you are seeking.
You would need to try identify which pieces you are missing. If the vacuum hose diagram is still present, that will help. Emissions technology was in its infancy back then. Mostly consisted of EGR...
I saw this on the slant six website and thought I would pass it along. I believe it is in Washington state.

If you disassemble the standard gas cap you have, can you trim the chrome piece to fit over the adapter? Just a thought.

You could only get the automatic behind the 360. You could get a 4 speed (3 speed w/overdrive) behind the 318. If it is a factory stick, it is a 318 not a 360. I tried to get a 360 stick back in...
Whichever of the two has the larger ID, I would buy a pipe expander and swedge the larger one just big enough to fit over the smaller one.
jus sayin
I put the solid (metal) ones on my Volare wagon and it rode just fine. Definitely a more solid ride, it actually felt 'normal' compared to before. The cars prior to 1973 were all solid and that is...
Is there any weight difference with these over stock?
Any MOPAR nut, worth their salt, should try to build a slant at some point in their life. I am shooting for one of each, small block, big block, slant and Hemi. as for this engine. No power...
Yes, the Mason-Dixon race May 4/5.
It goes into the car this month and I hope to get a few passes on it before a race date first weekend of May in Hagerstown MD.
I am shooting for 300+ HP. If it doesn't make that now, I have a few...
Well, it's been a while, but I am still in search of that elusive wagon to replace my wrecked one. I did save everything salvageable from it before I said goodbye. The engine from it has been...
I just got my copy of a new transmission book by Tom Hand.
"Chrysler TorqueFlite A-904 & A-727 Transmissions: How to Rebuild (Workbench How-to)"...

I was just poking around and saw this note. Does anyone know what he is referring to?
It was a slant six in a 1980 Volare.
Seats are still up for grabs, if anyone is looking.
PM sent.
I can confirm this as well.
They are pressboard. I think, depending on the year, they were either one piece or two piece. The one in my 79 was one piece. It had a 'sag' in the back, but I used a steamer to soften it and then...
Reminds me of my old 79 wagon, may she rest in peace.
Nice score!
I think that goes on the bolt or pin that connects your pedal to the booster.
The 1980 setup is different than the 1979 and earlier?
My 79 Volare Wagon had this, it was listed as a "premium sound insulation package".
Or something like that.
I realize it is April Fools day, however...
I have been looking for a Dodge truck to replace my 87 Ram that burned up. I just came across this and it is an actual truck......
