The funny bit is I spent the same amount of time doing everything but lift the engine as I spent last weekend changing the spark plugs in my 300. Have to take apart the whole top side, and getting that dang EGR tube back into the intake was not fun.

edit: was going to do the torque converter to flex plate bolts this evening, but fell dead asleep after work until 10pm. Not really necessary to suit up for that work in 40 degree darkness.

Didn't even think about mine. Haven't been able to eat for days. Fever goes on and on.

    That stinks. Get well soon.

Some cases of this flu remind me of the ones going around 50 years ago that were really bad. Days of delirious fevers. Equilibrium being all messed up to bed ridden. Being able to feel air pressure differences from laying down to standing up, and just falling back down. Still others with nausea so bad you'd think I'll starve to death if I can't even hold liquids down today finally. Yet nobody lost their minds over it back then even as children like myself went through those things.

Guess there isn't much worse than having to take sick time and actually being so sick you can't make at least a little progress at home. Hope that fever breaks soon.

I was able to do a LITTLE bit on the F yesterday. Started on the winter major clean/detail. Didn't get very far though. Can't wait until I can use 2 hands again! Guess it's better than being sick but it still sucks.

Did a couple hours work from home today, but only because they needed me to. I would have happily stayed semi-asleep. This stuff is like having mono. That little bit of work had me passed out for hours after.

I agree that we don't need to shut down the entire country just because I feel like crap. I'll get over it, and everyone else should be able to keep doing what they do in the meantime.

Started the yearly clay bar on the F. Got the left half of the hood, roof and deck lid done. Always amazing what a difference it makes. A seemingly clean car, really isn't. The horizontal surfaces feel like 400 grit sand paper but after the clay bar,,,,,,,,,smooth as a babies bottom. You can visually see the difference between the part done and the part not done. It's like the paint is brighter and shinier, and that's before any wax. Most of it is crap that settles on the car if i take it to work. Comes from the paper mill across the street. Doesn't do any damage to the paint, just sticks to it. The only way to clean it off is with a clay bar. Started with a fresh piece of clay bar, and it turned from yellow to black pretty quick. Obviously not an F-Body but I'll do the Mustang also. The N-Body (Dakota) gets it's turn in the summer.

I'm thinking of cleaning up the tired 30 plus year old paint on the Roadrunner over the winter. DA it to 4,000 and buff it back up. I know there's life left in that paint but clay isn't guna find it.
