    Angry Warning about FactoryChryslerParts.com

I wanted to buy a new Air Dam for my Dakota.

    http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/...category=20301

They allowed me to add it to my cart and proceed all the way through checkout and pay with Paypal.

I got three e-mails two from them and one from Paypal. I then get one from them that the parts are not available anymore and I should receive an refund from them in 3 to 7 days. Well I paid them instantly so my reply was that they should pay me back instantly also. I glad I used Paypal because I filed a dispute and five minutes later I got my refund. I then tried to add the part to my cart and could. I replied and and said they need new software that shows the correct inventory and does not let someone purchase something they don't have.

This was my second run in with them. Before I purchased a small block timing chain tensioner from them and got the same result. We don't have the part and you will receive a refund in 3 to 7 days.

Buyer beware when visiting their site. They just want to borrow your money for 3 to 7 days.

If you still need it you can call a local dealer and see if they can run it on the dealer parts locator and maybe one of the dealers might have one in stock.
