I tried everything I could think of and it would not do what you did so I have no idea.

For the next few weeks I drove the car around occasionally to see how it ran and handled before I parked it for the winter. I tried a set of wheels and tires on the car off a friends pickup truck and the sizing didn't look too bad so I ordered new wheels and tires and then had the tires installed and balanced and then I put them on the car to see how it looked.

I then took the interior out of the car and cleaned off the surface rust and painted it with pour 15.

I then decided to start on a new transmission for the car and got an A-500 from a friend out of a 1991 Dakota and went through it. I researched what I may have to do to install it in the car and read everything from completely cutting out the floor tunnel and making a new one to just cutting out the frame and reforming the floor along with making my own transmission mount to fit the overdrive trans. I built the transmission and looked at it and the 904 that was in the car. I did a little measuring and decided to add frame connectors to the subframe to give me some more frame to work with

Go to PATC for the transmission solution.

I took the 904 out and put the A-500 into place to see what I may need to do to get it into place.

I cut the cross frame out where the tunnel is and then welded in 5/16" metal under the floor to the side of the frame left after I used a plasma cutter head for a spacer, then put the transmission back up to see what it looked like then and what I may need to do more to the transmission case.
