    Haven't fired it up yet. Maybe tomorrow evening. This evening looks to be a repeat of yesterday, cold and snow.

    Wow! You guys are having it rough...
    Worst for me so far was trying to tighten the battery down in CC and snapping the end of the positive cable off. Never saw it was cracking out from below. Just twist twist HEY!

    I drove the car home today. I found the MSD Starter Saver was dead. Removed the wiring jumper to the distributor from the stater saver and re-hooked the MSD Digital 6AL ignition to the distributor. Fired right up. Never would have thought that one causing a problem.

    I assume the starter saver is to retard the timing during cranking?

    Yes, I have my MSD distributor timing locked at 32 degrees so the stater saver took 20 degrees out of the equation during cranking and then gives all timing back once 800 rpm was reached.

    OK, I have MSD dist and box but my timing isn`t locked.
