More progress from past couple weeks. Made lots of progress on drivers side, and put a lot of time into hood scoop to fix major cracks running in many spots. One step closer to bringing it back to life

I know a lot of guys don't like that style of hood scoop but I dig it.

That is old school - I had the same style only a little larger back in 79. We used to call it a Mopar scoop.

    Love it!

Did you guys get to meet at the Red Barns last year? Mama and I got to meet both of you there. We actually came because of that hood and scoop! He found out I had it and wanted to reunite it with his car. I liked it too. But it belongs where it belongs.

I wish i had the time to hang around at red barns, got distracted by the rain and obviously my dodge pickup fetish! Hopefully we can have another big meet like that again real soon

Got more blocking done, needs many more hours of blocking to get it where I want it. Found a picture of another sport coupe that has my original paint scheme and played around with halo top trim

That is a great upgrade - I would suggest this to everyone. Pictures do not do the light improvement justice.

Had one on my first car, 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe, back in the early '80's and that's what it was called in the catalog (might have been Summit?), a Mopar scoop. LOL, remember catalogs and mailing in your order? Times have sure changed.
