At long last,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,drove the car to work today. All the way up to 40 miles this year now The whopping 10 I had this year previously and the 30 round trip to work and back. We're rolling the miles up now, lol. Too bad it's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon,,,,,,,,,,,,,and Friday too.

Got to drive the Aspen to work twice this past week. That plus a little bit near home and added another 70 miles to the ol' odometer.

Tuesday I dodged (no pun intended) a bullet. It was SUPPOSED to be sunny and dry, no chance of rain. Late afternoon you could see the dark clouds off to the west. Two of the other guys had their cars at work also so we checked the radar. Big red and purple blob. Oh crap. Now for the dodging the bullet thing. It was going straight south just off to the west. Drove home and the sun never stopped shining, not a drop of rain. I could see the rain about a mile or so away. Looked like black clouds right down to the ground. The other two guys, not as lucky. To get home, they had to drive right into the storm. Guess it rained so hard both had to pull off the road and wait it out. Better them than me! LOL Actually, their cars are nice drivers so it wasn't that big a deal to them to get caught in the rain.

We just had MONSTER MOPAR WEEKEND here at Norwalk Ohio's Summit Motorsports Park. So of course we had a good time with some of our far flung Mopar Family.

Added bonus, although I'm sad all the cars on the field weren't judged and it was a smallish Judge field, since the track screwed the pooch on that one's cost vs just entering a car for admission. Candy Corn got 3rd Place in class with her approachable 80's persona. And Black Beauty, our Cordoba was able to come away with a 1st Place Award in B-body! Then we grilled at my place afterwards.

I wish I could make the trip someday with the Aspen but I just can't see driving it that far. Maybe I should bring the Challenger......... Bruce looks like he gained some in the gut area since I saw him last lol!

LOL David! Why you think I'm wearing that slimming black shirt instead of grey like him? Can't see my big fat gut!

Who sells these slimming black shirts? I need some of them. Never mind I rather wear a white one to stay cooler and show my gut. LOL
