I whipped mine out today and drove it a total of 100 feet getting it out of the garage and into my other garage. I cleaned it all up for a car show this weekend but it looks like rain so I put it away and spent all day on my Challenger and I will spend most of the day tomorrow on it so I will take it to The Mother Road Route 66 Festival in Springfield, IL. The show is rain or shine so the Challenger is going for the gold this time.

Looking like a nice day today. Everything is wet from the overnight rains. I took my bucket of thinner rags outside last night after working at the bench and got no further than the kitchen window when I heard it just started downpouring. There's oddly no shows within an hour of us this weekend so maybe we'll just go for a cruise. Next weekend is 3 1/2 hours to Akron Indiana for the Jonesy's Junction get together. So I surely hope the weather is good for that.

430 mile round trip to Tim's Jonesy's Junction get together in Akron Indiana. Great time with great people like every time! It's a long day of driving but Candy Corn really loves to stretch her legs for hours on end. Only car I really enjoy flying down the highway in without cruise. Of course that 65-70 registered is about 12-15 mph short of reality. But that's all fine. I really need to beef up the K-member or something tho, cuz it's kinda like doing those miles on a Harley.

I may go to the Mopar show at Maple Grove this Saturday. Not sure yet as it calls for rain later in the day.

We're hoping the possibility of rain moves thru by mid Saturday as expected and we can go to the Oak Harbor Apple Fest show on Sunday. We haven't gone there in nearly 20yrs.

Almost 60 degrees today and sunny after the rains earlier this week! Took mama on a run thru the towns in three points of the compass surrounding our home for an hour. Grabbed a couple pix at the rail yard at the edge of one as we rolled on to the next.

We're feeling that joy of Springtime in the Air!

69 degrees today with sunshine all day and about a 10-12 mph breeze. Opened the windows for the first time this year. It felt great!

Usually don't get anything out til at least the end of April. But cabin fever has been hitting hard this year. Add anything resembling a decent day during some full moon crazy and suddenly we're cruisin!

Yesterday here was mid 50's and sunny but there was one huge thing that kept the car in the garage, SALT Well actually two things, salt and sand. Even if the road is dry, the salt dust is horrible. Semi's coming down the freeway leave a huge cloud of white behind them, not to mention what sand and tiny rocks will do to paint on the lower parts of the car, along with ruining the aluminum wheel lip moldings.

Put it this way. When I got to work this morning, my truck was spotless. Then it sprinkled and rained enough to get the roads wet (call it max delay on the wipers rain) and back home in the garage, my black truck is white.
