Love driving mine this time of year. Runs cooler and not many bugs. Only down size is it's potato digging time. More dirt on the road then in the fields.lol

I went back to Tomball on Friday. On Saturday I helped my friend remove some doors and place a temporary door in place and then hanged some old timey looking Doors on the wall. Sunday I went back to start the car up and we drove to Starbucks and every Corvette owner googled over our two Mopars. They were even picking falling leaves off of mine. LOL It is now for sale at $20,000.00 because I really don't want to sell it. The new me got to show off. I cooked steaks for my Daughters and me on Saturday night. I need smaller clothes. I bought the grill and left it for my daughters to use.

Beautiful drive home this afternoon. Window down, got out of work about an hour early and it's amazing how little traffic there is at 3:30 vs 4:30. Window up and heater on going TO work (brrrrrrrrrrr) though.

No dirt on the road to speak of, just leaves up the kazoo. (kind of windy out).

Added another 29 miles to the odometer.

I've put more on this year than the first 3 years "after the build", despite the crappy weather way too often (meaning RAIN). Estimate around 500 or so and hopefully a few more yet, as long as the weather holds out. It's starting to get way too close to that time Soon the car will spend 6 or 7 months sleeping in it's nice warm garage. Can't believe it's the middle of October already

I just KNEW you could never sell your car!

Forecast is for mostly to totally sunny tomorrow so,,,,,,,,,,,the Aspen WILL get another 29 miles. Time is running short so, better take advantage of any opportunity.

Now that I got the HVAC working so it blows air out where it's supposed to instead of vents only,,,,the below freezing temps in the morning won't result in fried face but frozen feet.

Rolled up another 29 miles on today's whip it out mission. Work and back again.

The plan is to do the same on Monday IF the forecast doesn't mysteriously change before then.

Since the sunny and dry forecast for today came true,,,,,,,,,,,,,another 29 miles under the tires to work and back.

I said sunny and dry, didn't say warm though. Definitely NOT window down weather, even on the way home. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
