When building my Aspen, I made all the patch panels myself. I had taken "Metals" all 4 years of high school which helped a lot but,,,,,,,,not having a fully equipped shop (like the one at the high school) means improvising. No, I didn't need a full 1/4 panel but the 1/4's in front of the wheel wells, the rear of each rocker, including the inner structures, bottoms of the doors, etc................. Not bragging but I got pretty darn good at forming panels. Yes, there was quite a bit of "crap, screwed that one up" and add it to the scrap pile. This was pre knowing about Jim for me. I only wish I'd known about him way sooner in the project! It would have taken a lot of time off the 12 years it took to build.

If I had access to my old high school metals shop, oh man! Sheet metal brakes, bead rollers, any kind of welder you could want, milling machines, lathes, english wheels, planishing hammers, about a million different metal working tools, etc, etc, etc. One of each piece of equipment in that place would be a dream shop! Got to say also, the instructor was the greatest teacher I ever had. Yeah I know, this has nothing to do with repop body panels. Sorry.

I could get by with lower quarters and rockers but I wanted to do the full quarters being that itís my beloved T-Top Supercoupe
I canít mess this one up!
The rest of my car is near mint
Iíd post pics if I only knew how
Besides all o have to work with getting online is my IPhone

I still have taken the car to some local shows but I canít hide the rust much longer.

I hate to even wash the car in fear of more rust.

I contacted Jim, Iíll see what he has available, I believe mine are an easy fix for now though

Itís just the bottom edges of each quarter, and the rear of both rockers.

Thereís also a spot on the firewall near the attachment to the bracing rod area
