I hear you on the car thing. If the roads weren't white with salt where they're not brown with sand,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'd practice social distancing in the Sunrise. I'm going batty (probably obvious to everyone) waiting for that first drive of the year, especially now!

Filled the Dakota up on the way home from work Friday for $1.34/gal (87 octane). Earlier this morning I got the Aspen out and filled it up with ethanol free premium (91) for $1.96/gal.

Got gas for $1.66 last evening. Lowest we've seen it since the March shutdown orders. People don't seem to be reacting negatively to the new "Curfew". Traffic was heavy and everybody just going around doing their thing. Talked with other shoppers who were all equally friendly. Even the nice lady at the other side of the gas pump filling up her new Ram Truck for a price she was happy about.

The one station I drive past to and from work was $1.98 for weeks, then Monday it was suddenly $2.24, the next day,,,,,,,,,,,,back to $1.98 (what the???) Filled the Dakota up this morning in my part of the city for $1.84. It's always more down in Mosinee for some reason.

We've been bouncing around in the $1.86-1.89 one day or week to, WTH? $2.14-2.21 for a couple days here and there and only slowly working it's way down again all month long, for the past few months. I was really shocked to see it drop here so dramatically.

Good to see you again Kevin. I thought my strong sense of sarcastically calling friends out had made you angry at me. We hadn't seen your area price since like, May! For once I'm happy that my Governor is an idiot. LOL!

Almost a year since we've kept this current sadly. Guess things have just been too strange since then. Everything is upside down it seems.

But the price of gas or anything else hasn't gone upside down since then. Hyper inflation, most having the sense to recognize it as Bi Denflation, and that it's only going to get worse on every front the deeper we get into our current "situation". Man, I could sure use some mean tweets and gas under two dollars again right about now. Kinda hard to measure the distance in smiles per gallon when the price has gone up 80% in just a year. Kinda reminds me of an infamous woman not so long ago saying that "things" have consequences. Usually those are the mutual suffering of all, whether by choice or involuntarily involved when things swing in the direction those of that persuasion prefer.

So last Friday 10-22-21 here on The Fun Coast the price dropped from $3.22 to $3.05 for a day. Thankfully due to a local social group we knew it was going up to $3.29 Saturday morning at 6 AM. So we filled our tanks and the gas cans. Sure enough our whole region is still setting at the corporate decided price of $3.29 still today and nobody is budging.

Isn't this fun? I just LOVE being able to pay nearly double what it cost to have a good time with our cars just a year ago when we were energy independent and an oil exporter for the first time... Today's reality is almost as magnificent as the "certain entity" making the very real and serious threat to eliminate our ability to have hobby vehicles at all.

So how wonderful are things in your area? Do you find yourself at least equally blessed with the ability to overpay for everything you can manage to still source from a store, right down to gasoline?

Yeah, we all know who's to blame for the gas prices (and everything else prices also), he says trying to not be political. Let's just say it a certain habitual liar, senile puppet with no cognative ability left at all and leave it at that.

Depending on what part of the metro area you are in, regular ranges anywhere from $2.91 to $3.14. It's $2.96 here in the Rib Mt. area. Always strange how the price can vary so much. Down in Mosinee it's $3.14. If you go about 20 miles to the far north side, it's $2.91. I mean, I'm not going to drive up there just to save $1 on a tank of gas but still.................

Man, if I could post what I want to post.............................................. .........
