Down to 2.53 today. With our new 0.14/gal tax that's the lowest it's been since April.

We use to have the exact same price at every station in the metro area, with the exception of a few of those on the far north side. For some reason, they were always a few cents lower. Now it's all over the place. Near me in Rib Mt 87 octane is $2.34, go across the river to Weston and the going price appears to be $2.36, down by where I work in Mosinee on the far south side it's $2.59/gal. What the heck? What it is in other areas around here, who know's. I've no reason to go there, lol.

It was $2.20 for 89 in Texas around Christmas. It's around $3.30 in Prescott, AZ for 89. It's always stupid expensive here. People used to say it was because they have to haul it up here, but really it's because there are too many people fleeing here from CA and they don't know any better so the price goes up.

Here on "The Fun Coast" it's $2.71, but 30 miles up the road where I work and 'coastal' means industry instead of rip you off on everything it's $2.35

Went down a smidge here in the Rib Mt. area. Filled the Dakota this morning at $2.31/gal. Before that I was over in Weston and it's $2.45 +/- a couple cents at the stations I past. Down is Mosinee on the way home from work Friday evening I noticed it was till $2.59/gal, at least at the one station I go by on the way.

Think I figured out why it used to be the same at every station no matter where they are in the metro area. It was state law that they had to mark gas up 6% over cost. The law was removed so now there is no minimum required mark up and so, prices all over the place.
