Regular is up to $2.44 now. Joy of joys, our illustrious new Governor proposed an 8 cent/gal gas tax increase. Trying to not be political here but, he has a (D) after his name. Just saying.......................

On a maybe brighter side of the news, the Rib Mountian Petro Mart (says VP Racing on the sign) might not be closing. They're still open but,,,,,,,,,,all the pumps still say "out of order" on them, so who knows. I was going to ask about it when I was there a couple days ago, when the manager was behind the counter, but then (as I mentioned in an earlier post) figured it's not really any of my business so, I didn't. Only place with race fuel and after going there for over 20 years, it feels comfortable there, if you know what I mean. Really hope it comes back fully.

Up to $2.49/gal, even though the price for a barrel of oil went down.

I have heard that prices are affected by what happened a month ago but who can remember what happened a month ago?

Always seems like the price will go up overnight if the price of oil jumps but, takes forever to come back down after oil prices drop again. I always just think paying $2.49 is a ton better than the $4.75+ it was a few years ago, and it doesn't seem so bad.

Still $2.29 in my area. I guess I will look for it to go up. Both cars driven every day are full so I got it at $2.29.

Was still $2.49 today. Planning on stopping on the way to work tomorrow to fill the Dakota (I always fill up when it gets down to half tank) so, we'll see if it goes up, down or stays the same. Even if it goes up 5 cents or whatever, it makes little difference with 11 or 12 gallons.
