The refinery that supplies gas up here must've had a rain cloud float over or something, or a bird crapped on one of the evaporating towers. A couple days ago it was up to $1.54 and now today it went up to $1.65/gal

They are just hoping everyone is watching the stock market and can agree with the increase.

I pay no attention to the stock market and the "worried investors". It is what it is and whether it's up or down, doesn't seem to make one iota of difference in daily life. Well, except for my IRA of course. I suppose $1.65 isn't what a person would call expensive really. Just hope it doesn't keep going back up, and up, and up. It's still only about half the price of a gallon of milk (and this is the so called "dairy state") so, it's all good.

I filled up the Dakota today for $1.38. It was fun to do a burnout in front of a full size Dodge pickup and move out.

I filled up the Dakota yesterday for $1.65/gal but no burnout. The mighty 3.9L isn't known for it's low rpm torque. Only way it'll do a real burnout is if you're also turning. Not even a brake stand will give you more than a little "squeak". On the plus side though, it gets really crappy mileage, lol Summer:18-19 mpg (not so bad), winter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,checked it yesterday and a blazing 14.5 mpg. '96 Dakota regular cab, short box, 4X2, automatic, V-6 Magnum.
