So far I'm really liking PC Matic. Took a little time getting used to it since I was Norton guy forever. I would recommend it.

Should be some interesting weather where I am, calling for 7+ inches of rain. When I was up getting my ccw this morning the Sheriff told me they are already closing some roads that are known to wash out. In my backyard mossy creek runs across it (feeds into the Chattahoochee). Should be interesting to see how it does. My house is well above it, so water will not be an issue for me.

Feel so sorry for the people on the gulf coast and out west with the fires. As if covid wasn't a hard enough gut punch.

Way down yonder on the Chattahoochee?

We would have had 3 days in a row of clear, bright sunshine and 75-80 degrees except,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the poor forest management practices in the Socialist Republic of California (sorry CA members), and the resulting massive fires, made the sun look more like a big red circle in the sky, due to the smoke and it never got anywhere near 75-80. We can even smell the smoke once in a while. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr......................

President Trump is coming here tomorrow to speak at the airport and, the shop is about a mile away from it. There have been secret service lurking all over the place, helicopters flying around, etc (and rightfully so). They came to the shop to check us out but we'll all be on our way home before he even takes off from Washington most likely. We're done at 4:30 and the President is scheduled to arrive at 8pm or so. It'd be neat to see the President in person but you'd have to get in line at 7 in the morning and stay there the whole day until they opened the gates to the hangars when they start security checks before going in. That and, I don't like crowds and there will be thousands of people to form the crowd. That's how it was when he was here a couple years ago.

Does PCMatic have a VPN like Norton? I like having that since it let's you hide your location, among other things, from those out to do no good.

Next week looks great here. Daytime 60's and clear, I'll take it.

I believe the VPN is an add-on. The only thing I have on the cloud is my iTunes music. I do like that they have the black and white list on the site.

How long will the nice weather around here last? It seems like we only have two seasons any more. Winter and summer. It`s nice to have some nice days to enjoy.

I was doing some spot paint repairs on my Dakota and all was going well. Then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I decided to put one more coat of paint on. Should have left well enough alone. Not sure how it happened but, that last coat is full of snot runs. AAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was going for decent not perfection but ended up with a mess. Dang it! Oh well, I guess that what they make ultra fine sand paper and paint run files for. Sigh........................

On the rave side, supposed to be mid to upper 70's through at least next Saturday with VERY little chance of rain so that's something anyways. In theory, the Aspen should be coming out at least a couple times. Well technically it cam out today but only to go from one garage to the other, so I could spray paint on the poor old Dakota. Nice day (60's) but the gusty winds (20-35 mph) are kind of irritating. The wind just doesn't know when to quit.

Worst part is, I tend do it way too often. You know, "I can get it just a LITTLE bit better". You'd think I'd have learned after 56 years, lol.

On the rave side of things, the fly that's been buzzing around the room annoying the bleep out of me, is dead. It FINALLY landed and will never fly again. Something about a few sheets of rolled up paper and a window pane meeting, and the fly just HAPPENED to get in the way. Too bad for the fly!

Here's one I have no bright side or silver lining to offer on.

The Internet, web forums social media blogging all of it.

There is not one d@mn place in this world you can just say what you mean. It's always got to be crafted for an audience, spoken in acceptable terms, sound like you're putting it out there on your sleeve, but knowing you're holding back 85%. And everybody has just gotten so used to that being the standard that they freak out if you even give 15% and really lose it if you give 30% in person.

More people need to start experiencing real life where stupid has consequences that aren't pretty instead of getting away with being petty or ignorant but popularly ignorant.

    That is all. Carry on.

I agree. Some need to "grow a pair" and stop running to their safe space down in their parents basement. There are those that get offended by anything that goes against their views and take what you say and twist it all around so the meaning is totally different from what you were saying. A good example is the majority of the lame stream fake news media. If you don't agree with that, fine. Just don't have a hissy fit about it!
