I'm just going to post a couple links from my state for you to see a couple things. Then you can check your own states and see how you're doing.

    https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/por...-19/dashboards

Now to look at that, you have to wonder why we're scared? As of today, Sunday Nov 15, 2020 there have been 298,096 confirmed cases. Divide into that the 5,722 deaths and you get a 1.9% chance of dying from this silly little bug or even a 7.4% chance of requiring treatment like 22K people in my state have. Sure seems to me that knowing your own personal risk factors is the only thing important here. Just like with the seasonal flu or any other pesky little bug. Surely not a big deal right?

    Then there's also this one

    https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/por...oSEZwhWoKSk2ug

I understand that we're all getting older. But it sure looks like more simple math to recognize 78% of all deaths have been among retirees, and not the working population. Surely people running around at gyms, and bars, restaurants, the movies, or going to "non-essential" Small Businesses are typically single digit risk factors, while I'm not assuming anyone's personal medical needs. And while I don't know about your state, I can clearly see that since the average age of an Ohioan is 78.6 years, that over 53% of all deaths being attributed to the Rona are among people who are already at least a year and a half older than average. So was it the Rona that got them? Or was it really just old age and they happened to have a little flu bug or possibly even just antibodies from already having gotten it when their time finally came?

Is this whole overhyped BS all Absurd or What? But now that we seem to have a new national "leader" it sure looks like he wants to shut our nation down again senselessly. Which would mean borrowing from China. Or more to the point, selling our nation more to China. Over WHAT? A little bug?

China is to blame for it in the first place. They banned travel to and from that Woohan Province within China but NOT to anywhere else in the world. Trying not to get political but it's tough. IF Biden is our new President (heaven help us all), he's in bed with China as head of the Biden crime family so it suits him just fine if we sell our nation to China. Nobody wants to get Covid-19, or any other illness, but we can't destroy the economy over it. It's been tried already due to the insistence of a certain political party, and our President wasn't the cause. The federal government can't order something like that, it's all down to state Governors overstepping their authority and mandating shut downs using so called "emergency orders". Our illustrious Governor did it and is still trying to do it but the State Supreme Court ruled against him. Obviously shutting down the economy did absolutely nothing except bring our country down, put millions out of work, either temporarily or permanently in some cases. How many businesses were bankrupted and will never reopen again? I still think it's over hyped by the lame stream media and the socialists, I mean Democrats, all in the name of power and control over the people. And please, could they come up with some new terms? If I hear the phrase "social distancing" or "troubled times", "uncertain times", "unprecidented times", etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I do believe I will scream. Do I wear a mask? Yes, if the business I'm going into has a sign that requires it. That's their choice and I will follow it, no argument. WHen the government tries to MANDATE mask wearing, that's where I draw the line. Why would I wear a mask when I'm outdoors? I also wash my hands a bit more than I used to at work and use sanitizer due to the number of cars I'm in per day but, unless you are at high risk IF you get it, you can't let it run your life and scare you too much. We don't wear masks at work and up front, they hung a plexiglass partition and then put "Employee's Only" stickers on all the shop entrances.

From what I see around here, that appears to be how pretty much everyone is treating the so called pandemic. Streets are jammed, parking lots are full, restaurants are open, yet the number of cases percentage wise, hasn't changed much from the stupid lock down or whatever they want to call it. They tell us that positive cases are up. Well DUH. When you test 10 times more people now than you did 6 months ago, you will have more positive case reported. Plus, a good majority of those that do get tested are because of that contact tracing (which sounds kind of big brother creepy, if you ask me), where they had contact with a person with Covid that may or may not of even had any symptoms. Test 1000 people and get 2 positive, then test 10,000 and get 20 positive. Of course that's 10 times more positive tests but it's also 10 times more tests done. Somehow the socialist media can't wrap their tiny little brains around the concept. Anyways,,,,,,,,enough ranting. I went way farther than I had intended already and could go on for a lot longer but, I won't. Keep in mind, all of the above is what's called JMO and yours may vary and that's fine. Thank you.

I am in and out of cars a lot during the week and do not wash or sanitize my hands like I should and I have been doing this all along for years. I am retired but I do help a friend with a repair shop that he owns and is the only employee. Cash is kinda nice if you know what I mean.

Most members here are old enough to be "At-Risk". It's part of getting older. Everything is a risk, the older you get. Ever seen those meme's about wondering how you lived through your youth? Or the ones about how we did stuff before a bunch of p*ssies took over? Man, that's where I'm at with this too. Yeah, I'm getting old. I'm a little fat. I'm lazy enough that my garage is a Disaster Area. The days are getting shorter and the wait list for motivation, even monetary, is getting longer. That frame sticker I used to run on my old Triumph Bonneville hardtail is truly coming true DILIGAF. And I probably couldn't ride that old bone shaker long today if I still had it, or wanted to.

But I mean... Seriously. Anybody under my age group has a single digit risk factor and it goes down and down the younger you get.

I feel like "society" or more arguably a political element within our nation I won't mention, has finally truly portrayed my GenX and Boomers, as the most selfish POS's in History, since we're the main benefactors of everybody else's suffering in economic and social changes. I'm with you completely in that if I hear "New Normal" or any of the other BS terms one more time, i want to throat punch the speaker. We can't allow this to continue in our names.

We really can't allow our nation to be sold to China, because it leads to global destruction. Not just our own. I wish I could be wrong, but I've spent too many years being right (usually unfortunately) about geopolitics. But to put a more abstract view on it so as not to be specifically political, Nostradamus predicted China will eventually come to collect from the world they as the dragon have spread their wings over. The Eagle will go to war with not just the Dragon, but their friend the Bear who is closer to us as people than the Dragon and end the world yet again. China only wishes to dominate the entire world in debt driven neo-colonialism. The big reset, and the collapse of the dollar are next on the list to getting there. Many market watchers and financial advisors who haven't spoken about it in the past along with the conspiracy theory nutjobs, are now. This election has made that reality a distinct possibility and very likely reality for the world.

I'll just leave this with a quote from Our Lady Peace. I've ready the Bible. I've read Dylan. I'm reading People now.

    "Superman's Dead"
    .
    We're on our own now.

PS. That went astray unintentionally, or did it, maybe I'm just "Clumsy". But I'm still already one of the 98.1% of Covid survivors since February. There's little point of me wearing a mask, although I usually do in situations where it's expected. I sure don't if I see a Karen, until now when she could call the cops on a business because of my pointless compliance with a placebo, thanks to our Republican Governor who will have to run as a Democrat next time or face a Primary challenger. I don't bother over sanitizing or any of that though. I like my immune system and have no intention of compromising it with germophobic actions. Plus I quit shaving as soon as they said "Mask Up for Safety" (LMFAO!) that way I have a nice air cushion around my face that makes the whole mask thing pretty pointless but less annoying and itchy at least.

Anyhow. This may not really be a rant, or a rave.
But I feel better sharing facts with you guys about the realities that are being overhyped against us. Well, and theories I have yet to be proven wrong about too.

    Ah, Rave time.

And some ranting. Our idiot Governor just told us how many people we're allowed to have over for Thanksgiving, and says we're no longer ALLOWED to Dance! Who does this RINO think he is? More importantly, Rocket wants to know who put the stick up his butt?

Covid spread isn't as important as actual hospitalizations and death numbers, which I've already shared. Can you imagine if we knew how many actually get the seasonal flu every year all around us? The CDC was reporting that over 2,500 people per week were going into hospitals with H1N1 in March right as they were ramping up the whole Rona Scare after botching the Impeachment Sham.

So now on to the Rave. I've got both Footloose and The Safety Dance going on in my head now...

    Much Betterer.

You can dance if you want to. You can leave DeWine behind. Cuz he don't Dance probly Can't Dance and he aint no friend of Mine!

What are they going to do if you have "too many people" at Thanksgiving? Round everyone up in the paddy wagon or what? Most, if not all, Police depts around here don't waste their time on people not "social distancing" (man I hate the term). They have more important things to do like investigate real crimes or help a citizen that needs Police help. There are only so many officers to go around.

Rant? No. Rave? No. guess this is just a weird thing. When I got home from work, after driving home in the snow (grumble), I decided to roll my trash cart out to the street before I got all undressed, since tomorrow is trash day. I keep it behind the house and as I came around the side of the house, I see a deer walking up my driveway. I figured it would run away so I kept on going. The deer around here are getting WAY too used to people. It didn't even flinch. Just looked at me and kept calmly walking up the driveway past me, about 5 feet away, then it continued into the backyard. I though deer were supposed to be afraid of humans, lol.

Well thankfully for me, I have so many cars that nobody would notice several more. Plus the "residential driveway" parking is totally hidden from view.

This is so absurd and Selfish of the older generations, which I'm among as are you guys.

If you looked at that 2nd link I posted above, there are fewer than 500 deaths of surely immunocompromised people under 60 years old in my state. The other more than 5,200, or 92% are all among those in the remaining averaged 17.9 years of lifespan, while over half of them were so much older than average that the "death average" is Still older than the lifespan average. But somehow, for some reason, those of us in or approaching our Golden Years think it's just fine to Demand that anybody who doesn't sacrifice for us, is the actual selfish person. Mask Up for the New Normal you selfish people in the first 60 years of your lives, this is Unprecedented.

What's unprecedented is the self centered egotistical manipulation of society by we "the elderly". I don't know about you, but I'm not going to the gym's the governors want closed. I'm not going to the Bars young people congregate in. I'm not hanging out with young people in restaurants, and I might take my wife or whole family to a movie once a year. But only if it seems like a really good movie that we just can't wait for on DVD. This whole slow down, shut down, curfew, closing of "non-essential" businesses to we OLD PEOPLE, or whatever they wana call it next, is the most
SELFISH BUNCH OF &@77$#!* I have EVER seen one demographic of people commit against ALL THE REST in my Entire Life!

Rant over. Time to listen to some good music...
