    Missed my car's birthday

Just realized my car had it's 40th birthday last week. It was built June 23, 1979. It doesn't seem possible it's 40 years old, especially since it was only 7 when I bought it way back when. Looks pretty good for it's age but then again, it's "had some work done", lol.

Awe man. Now I feel bad. I missed seven car birthdays in the past two weeks and ten in the past month!

    Well Happy belated Birthday!

I wish I could miss a few birthdays myself. LOL Time moves quickly the older you get.

    Wonder why that is?

I've noticed the same thing myself. One day you're 30 and the next day, POOF, 55. Bought this house 21 years ago and it honestly doesn't seem like I've lived here that long already. It really doesn't seem like I bought the Aspen over 32 years ago either. Where does the time go?

Just so I don't miss another birthday, I'll do it early, lol. On August 15th, my '96 Dakota will be (holy crap) 24 years old. How can that be? It was barely a child of 2 1/2 when I bought it way back in 1998 with a mere 41,000 miles (now 170,372). Another example of "where does the time go?".
