    80 Sport Wagon

Next one to be finding it's way to the Last Chance Malaise Ranch. Turns out this is the same car I first became aware of when owned by a friend in Maryland. Was in Vermont prior, supposedly abandoned or at least neglected there. Been a few other places since.

So does anybody know how to figure out what International Export Code D4 is? This one was originally delivered to another continent somewhere.

NO CLUE what Nation or Continent this was originally delivered to. Have to consider a US Military connection since it made it's way back to USA but there's no indication it had a base pass sticker on the bumper. For all I know at this point some of the rot could be attributed to a tropical salt climate. Or maybe the I code is a typo and should have been C. Maybe it only went to Canada for salt.

But since this morning I've recalled where I know the plates it sold on from Vermont in 2013. They coincide with the story that it was abandoned or neglected behind a motel there in the 80's. They are not Vermont plates. Can anyone identify them as I have from the very pixelated photos from 2013? Apparently there's also a connection with this website as the car was listed and sold from here at that time. So now again another thing is waiting on my ability to pay for restoration of this website, to retrieve the original 2013 contact information that was lost with all our other archives. Eric promised me they were parked on the servers but simply publicly unavailable, and he decided not to do the right thing after the crash of 2015. But he sold this to me last year on that promise that I sure hope is true for a million reasons today and just need to get that $$$$ together and make it happen. It's hard when cheap stuff like this keeps popping up with a need to be saved and brought to the Last Chance Mopar Ranch before it's lost to time and history forever also.

But here's the pix. And I'm going to make this a contest as well. If anybody can correctly identify the State and Year of these license plates without randomly guessing repeatedly, (AND I haven't already told today by text or phone call) gets a $50 gift certificate to their chain store or restaurant of choice.
