    John W

I have a 1977 Dodge Aspen 4 door with 318 engine and auto trans. I have worked on these cars since they were new. Everyone of my customers said that their Aspen/Volarie wasthe best car they ever owned. When I got the chance to buy this car, I jumped at the chance. I have never been disappointed except that it is almost impossible to find parts.

I need a blue dash assembly. This is the plastic assembly that bolts to the firewall to which everything is mounted.

I had a black one but its gone now as a friend needed it. BTW, A/C and non a/c are different. The A/C dash has vents. I may be able to find one when I go to Carlisle if it is still on for this july.

Sorry but I avoided going upstairs all weekend other than to take pieces of the latest car I cut up up and just drop in the common room. If I got into tagging, listing, and putting stuff away, like where the other dashes are, I wouldn't get done downstairs. But I'll get up there tomorrow even if it's just to push my way past the latest stuff, to check on a blue dash for you.

Thanks, I can understand. If I don't forget where I put stuff, my wife rearranges things just to help in the confusion.

I figured out where I'd seen that blue dash. It was when it was out of my 79 for two years and wasn't even AC. Lol! All I have extra now is a couple tan AC ones. If you wanted to use the SEM dye paint to change color it could work for you. But just with that extra effort.

Thanks for looking. I have a tan one that needs just a little epoxy. I was trying not to paint the off color. I sure wish Chrysler would have made these dashes out of steel or aluminum. It really makes me angry when I can't find parts for a very nice car. I have a 1979 Mercedes 300 TD that I can easily find parts to do necessary repairs.
