Why does it look like the Alternator is trying to run on the front groove that the PS Pump does? How are you figuring on running the Water Pump? Beautiful engine! Going to look even better when you put that natural gas line tubing in the trash for some proper hoses.

Pressed the old pulley off the alternator and didn't wanna press the new one on yet as the alternator needs rebuilt yet. New pulley is just set on the shaft

Is that a 60A or 100A? It is always nice having a little extra power on hand.

Gonna be rebuilt into a 100 amp. I Want a decent stereo in this one. Just gotta figure out how to hide it in the glove box.

Everyone on here most likely knows this already but,,,,,when upgrading to a higher amp alternator, make sure the wire between the alternator and starter terminal are upgraded also to the proper gauge. 100 amp should be 6 gauge.

The later M-bodies have what looks like a 100 amp bracket set that accepts modern /smaller and even higher amperage alternators than the old Giant 100 amp style.

Of course that big bracket set doesn't have the same aesthetics as the simple mounting for the old style 65.

All the brake lines are plumbed now and the wiring harness I've started to disect. Got the transmission back from my guy too. Reverse manual vavlebody with low band apply, 5.0 lever, deep pan, and 2400 stall converter.
