Brother , can you spare a torsion bar ?

I have my K member apart and got the bushings off of the T bars.
It was a Minnesota car and there is significant rust under the end bushings...........really bad on the right side.
Bad enough that structural integrity is a concern..............and with what I am throwing at this car , wadding it up over something I could have prevented is not in the game plan.
I am not looking to drop 8 bones on new from Firm Feel just yet , but might have to.
Unless someone has a clean pair they want to sell me.
I know shipping will be a chunk , but I think we could work something out.
I have a some LA performance stuff for trade bait.
I am in St. Paul , Mn and would be happy to drive some to pick them up as well.
Preferably somewhere warm , or at least with a good restaurant near by.
    Thanks !

You're for sure right about shipping being an issue these days. It's gotten to where the driving time is really more worth the effort than trusting them to do their best to ruin whatever you wanted, on their own completely random schedule of delivering it so you know how bad it is. The way they're treating packages these days I wouldn't be surprised if they could bend up the end links with a few good swings, and I'm no longer doubtful that would happen. I may have talked with you about re-bushing those bars the other day. But if you're looking for replacements now I'm sure that you should be able to find them easily enough within day trip driving range. There's guys near Milwaukee and Green Bay who probably have those items, possibly even a couple right in Minnesota too. As a last resort I could send some your way, but I really think meeting another of the guys to buy what you're after is a better option than shipping.

Do you need the bars with the ends, or without. I know I have a spare set of bars, but might not have the ends. I'll check later this morning when I go out to clear the driveway of the 10 plus inched of snow.

I have the ends off of the bars I have if they can be swapped.
I am assuming you mean the LCA end ?
Getting them off might be a real treat , but if it can be done , I'll give it the old college try.

When they are rusted they are tough to get off without messing them up for sure. I may have one NOS end but I paid $$ for it.

I do have both bar's. No control arm mounts, but they do have the pivot cushion bushings.

Any chance of getting pics ?
I have all new bushings , and darn near everything else on this K member.
I did the reinforcement plate on the lower control arms , the uppers are in good shape.
Had the whole thing media blasted and am putting it back together now.
If they are in good shape , I would be very interested.

Plus , it would give me an excuse to get back to Luigi's restaurant in Sheboygan.
One of the best Italian joints on the planet , and I have been in some great one's in and around N.Y.C.
There might be a road trip in my near future. LOL
