    1979 Volare front suspension parts

    Hi all,

I'm trying to source a left and right hand steering arm for a 1979 Plymouth Volare. I only have the subframe, as I'm fitting it to an early Dodge pickup, so unfortunately, I can't supply a chassis number, etc. This is the item which bolts across the back of the spindle upright, separate from the lower ball joint, and connects to the tie rod end.

Would anyone here have any in their parts bin, or know where I could find some?

    Many thanks

    Chris

Sorry, I have nothing. They are the same for F (Volare/Aspen) , M (Diplomat, 5th Ave, Gran Fury) and J body (Mirada and '80-'83 Cordoba) if that helps any.

I was going to suggest checking with Fbody Deconstructor Jim (he's a member here) at Jim's Arizona Parts but,,,,,,,,,,,seems his website has gone missing and I haven't seen him around here for a while. Maybe someone knows what's going on (maybe he retired?).

I just looked and it's still there. His last web update was 8/2020, so he might still be around.

I'm in Australia! Happy to pay postage if you could arrange it? Understand if you can't.

I asked Matt about it and he seemed to think it was working ok and he said it may have to do with the new security working it's way thru the whole site. I don`t know.

I know this is off topic for this thread but,,,,,,,,,,,I hope it gets back to normal at some point. All the avatars just have a green and grey thing and says "avatar" and some of the photos have the same symbol and say "img". Plus, my PM's only show up as blank white boxes, no text and if I try to send a PM, it goes to some screen with a bunch of computer jibberish and even at times when I submit a post also. Sigh................ Then again, I'm not what you would call an expert IT guy either, lol. I'm sure it'll come around.
