Spent a lot of time in yards in my youth 50 years ago. Cars stayed in them for years. Most here even the second gen ones are gone or only have stuff newer than 2000 or so. The ones that are left are under pressure to close or be "citified" Sigh, more of my past fading away.

Right? There's a nice selection of AMC's and Ramblers there. Quite a few Javelins. Even about a dozen Pacers.

No junkyard iron for me last weekend. So here's a few pix from South Carolina to make up for it.

When it's Carlisle Weekend, you don't go looking for "forgotten" stuff. You go enjoy the circus!

I was shopping for friends who couldn't make it this weekend instead of myself. Just taking pix of parts and the spot numbers and making offers when I got replies. But I did manage to get a nice pair of 76-77 Aspen tail light reflectors from a member for myself.

Check out the tag on the table between the six pack intakes. Lol! Somebody must have already bought that item....

The weather is Perfect! Today is a Great late summer day to hunt some rusty old iron, or create bucket loads of rust on the garage floor. Whatever... LOL!

Nice fall weather for some old iron!

Insanely WET fall weather where I'm very happy to just take pix instead of kneeling down to grab anything out of the muck my boots are squishing in.

Supposed to be hosting a friend over from out of state today but it's the same story there. Both he and his dad buried their trucks to the frames trying to pull some old iron out of a yard. Took late hours and a big tractor on a couple hundred feet of chain to deal with that and get home to clean up today instead of travelling.
