Info on the bumper and mounting. That tucked in bumper looks awesome.

The glass bumper was just mocked up in that pic, it's just sitting on the stool. There is a place that has the Molds that will still make the F body bumpers. The companies name escapes me but I can dig it up. I have spoken to them on the phone in the past. These came from the former owner , although he was not going to use them because they aren't the greatest quality if your going for a clean cruise night car , more for racing . I agree though , I love the tucked in look , that's how I'm gonna mount em

Oh god don't remind me ugh . That was such a shame . Not sure I will ever get it as nice as John had it, but I'm glad I could save it.

Yes I did have the garage up to 72 last night , it was 22 outside so that was pretty good . I sprayed the clear and it didn't go as well as I had hoped . The 1st coat was awesome , 2nd coat not bad, 3rd coat went miserably , maybe I didn't wait long enough for the last coat. I ended up with too much material on the panels and I got some orange peel and a few runs. Also the blending of the new clear to the old clear didn't go so well, the aresol blender I used didn't work for me. Looks like I have some wet sanding in my future! The color didn't match exactly either, which I knew was a risk with a blow in. I know I will not be satisfied with this paint job in the long run , however I will wet sand it and then compound and polish it and should look pretty good for now . Maybe in the next year or two I will have the whole car repainted . For now I will go with it so I can get rolling in the spring ! Overall I was happy I attempted it and the results weren't horrible. I haven't done that kind of work in 10-15 years , and doing it yourself is always a risk if your not a full time pro, but I had to try before I paid the outrageous amount a body shop wants . As soon as they see a classic car the price goes way up it seems.

Looks good to me. Remember you brought it a long way. My painter blends with the reducer when he is done.
