Looks nice.so what are your plans.
Still haven't decided if I'm switching out to bucket seats or keeping the bench. Sticking with the slant six. Clean up the engine compartment and trunk for now.

What will you do with the holes?
The holes in the side of the car from the molding (pop riveted on) will be welded shut. As far as the hood goes, I'll either retain the the hood and weld them shut or put a different hood on it. At that point the car would need to be repainted.

Not bad for a starting point but could be better.

I was a little worried if that worked at all when I bought the car since it didn't run and couldn't be tested. But after getting it running it blows out nice cold air. The heater works wonderful too. The door weatherstripping was terrible. I managed to get a trade for some parts I had in the garage. Some small broken pieces in the grille. Nothing terrible, I have some repair piece to fix that. I already have door hinges to swap out on the drivers side. It drops a little when you open it up.

I'm hoping to replace them one at a time so I don't have to remove and wrestle those heavy things. I figure I'll support the bottom of the door with a floor jack while it's open.

I started redoing the trunk. I already pulled out all the carpet. Thankfully there were no unpleasant surprises. The first thing I tackled was making a panel for the bottom side of the trunk lid. I came up with 3-4 different ideas. This is what I settled with.
