I transferred the pattern to 1/4" MDF board. I bought two strips of basswood at the hobby store and glued them down. The marine grade vinyl and board were sprayed with 3M adhesive. After a few minutes to cure they were pressed together. The letters I found at an auto parts store. I'm going to look for some interlocking fastener, like Velcro but heavy duty.

Ron, let me know when your ready to do the door hinges. I have a door cradle that mounts to a floor jack. The thing is the cats meow. You can pull both pins, or pull both hinges, with no worry of the door falling over.

While working under the hood, I noticed one of the fender braces was bent to hell. Some big boy must have put his leaned on it good at some point. I had a couple of spare sets on the shelf. I decided to jazz up the braces a little. I realize there is no benefit here other than purely cosmetic. Now I have to decide if they are to be painted body color, a high impact color or wrinkle finish them.

Nice. Lights are hooked up to the dome circuit I assume. Where are the lights from?
