    I can't be left out, Got to join the rest of the Canuks. Put me down for one also please. I could "borrow" the cap off of my 70 Charger.

    Any chance of getting a closer picture with the cap open? What's the clearance like while open on the hinge side?

    I tried to use the chrome trim ring but it is a larger diameter than the 79-RR gas cap opening and did not seat well.

    Good questions. Yes I will get more pics with the cap open and show the hinge clearance. I have no hinge clearance issues and the cap opens freely without any binding. This is currently mounted on a 79 roadrunner, I believe that this will fit other years and styles of F-bodies as well......Can one of our expert parts interchange gurus confirm this, please.

    Yes I'm pretty sure she will be good to go for all 2 door F-bodies. Any objections?

    So I was tilling my dad about this piece and the gas cap and now he is interested too so put me down for two now please and thank you

    1979 Plymouth Volare
    1/8 - 7.27 @ 94.55 mph
    1/4 - 11.39 @ 118.55mph
