A mid winter car fix video

This is one I made on March 9, 2014 just after getting the engine back in after building it AGAIN after only 100 miles (don't ask......)with only by the ear tuning. That cam is no longer in there. Went from not enough cam to too much cam. After this I went to a happy medium with a just right (for my purposes) cam. Anyways, the cam sounded cool. Once the snow melted (what snow? lol) I found it was all but undriveable at city speeds. Thirty years ago I'd have thought it was fine, not so much anymore! Getting old? Nah....................
Yes it was as cold as it looks. It was a whole 8 degrees out there.

While I'm in a video posting mood..............This is from March 23, 2014. Just a general walkaround type of deal. Also, had just gotten a video camera and wasn't quite good at using it yet, obviously.

.........and to finish it off, from June 8, 2014 with the cam that's in it now. A short run up the frontage road and back, taking it easy because I hadn't gotten the carb calibrated or the ignition timing and curve optimized at that point and the engine itself had only about 50 miles on it. The loud noise is the heater blower fan that shuts off just as I enter the garage. Despite the way it looks and the fact that it was June, the temp was only in the 20's. Gotta love Wisconsin weather, NOT!

I'll work on that. Should have done a couple last summer as an update to the way the car was in the early 2014 videos but never did. Most likely, if history is anything to go by, won't be for at least another 4 months before the car can come out. Once the snow is gone, then have to wait for a couple good rain storms to wash the million tons of salt off the roads. I like living here and wouldn't want to go anywhere else but the cold, snow and never ending salt storm does get old after a while. Right now the asphalt roads look like freshly poured concrete there's so much salt crust and dust on them. In the summer they're black, in the winter they're white as freshly fallen snow.
