Yeah, I ALMOST took my Aspen to work today. Forecast said "slight chance of rain in the northern part of the broadcast area". This is the center of the broadcast area so the northern part would be, well,,,,,up north, right? Guess what happened this afternoon, it rained briefly. Dodged that one!

I have had three very nice days in a row and could have taken my Aspen out for a cruise but that is kind of hard when the car has no steering gear.

Took the Vette out for a nice long drive - that bogging down situation did not happen. Maybe shaking the vented gas cap worked....

Was going to take the Dodge out afterwards, but I'm finished for the day. Maybe tomorrow night.

I was kicking around the idea of doing a matte black wrap on the hood, but the material + labor comes in around $2,000.

Nope. I'll live with the little scratches. If I try to polish them out it may pick up a sheen.

I will have him install the bed stripes on the Lightning. That is only $100 + material, I'm buying the stripes for $55. Normally I would do it (I did the stripes on the Dodge and the previous bed stripes on the truck) but I no longer have dexterity or feeling in my hands - so time to farm out to a professional.

I had no idea. Wow! There's a guy at work with a late model Charger in full black and grey urban camo wrap. Never thought to ask what that cost tho.

I read a full car wrap with 5-7ml with 10 year vinyl is $7-10K. Not a bad deal if you have a high dollar car and would like to keep the ability to return it to original.

Yesterday was a great day in the morning I took the Dodge out for a nice long drive, then early evening I took the Vette out.

Of course now I have two cars to clean. Fortunately I enjoy cleaning them.

Spent the last three days focused on the paint - clay bar up through the Chemical Guys layers to Activate spray.

Cars are slick as glass, I almost hate to pull them out of the garage.

Not as clean as Aspen79, but I almost don't want to drive it. Almost.
