The fuel cap arrived. I'm VERY impressed with the quality, I may install it tonight since it is a heat wave today being 43F!

Not the best of photos, but I think this billet cap will work out better than the plastic twist cap.

To make it match the other aluminum pieces better I may lightly brush it with 0000 steel wool so that it has a little texture.

Looks good and I agree with you those flip-up and twist caps are a pain.

I was looking in the vents and was shocked to see how much dust there is. Tomorrow I'll bring the large dust vac up to the garage and see between blow/vac how well I can get them. Since all the big stuff is now complete I'm focusing on the little AR things.

I briefly THOUGHT about doing a little in the garage today - but quickly changed my mind since it is so cold out. I'm soooo ready for spring and moving to GA!

Garage not heated? Even with a heated garage, it's still hard to get motivated out there when it's below zero outside. It's a mental thing. Spring? I CANNOT wait!

My garage is heated at 60 degrees all winter and the a/c is on in the summer. I am out in the garage every day but that does not mean I get something done every day.

Being cold blooded it seems, I keep the garage at 70 all winter and use the A/C when (if) it gets really hot out or, more importantly, if it gets humid. Humidity equals rust. I'm always out in the garage at least right after getting hoe from work. Go out and unlock the door, then go inside and ponder, LOL.
