Our Indiana bugs are not fooled. Maybe it's the heat from the wall pack lighting but they are all over the place around them. Not so much the moths but other little bugs.

For whatever reason, we don't have many bugs this year despite all the rain, rain, rain, even around incandescent lights so that may have something to do with the LED bug free zones also. Oddly, I haven't seen a single mosquito either, not a one (and that's a god thing!)

One downside I've found to LED's is if you have them on a dimmer. Unlike incandescent's that turn more amber when dimmed, LED's just get dimmer without changing color which kind of ruins the effect. That's why my porch lights are still regular "flame" bulbs, they're all on dimmers. The LED just didn't look right. Maybe someday they'll come out with LED's that dim like regular bulbs.

Down here the wasp are horrible, I have a large nest I need to take care of soon. It is of course way up under the eve.... I ordered an extended reach spray attachment for my long reach pole. Should be here tomorrow - then I can spray them at night in their little wasp faces

My neighbor told me if he had may car he would have done something different with the hood. He said cut out the center as an upside down fat "T" and install clear lexan in the opening. Motor would be the bottom of the T and the top would go across from turbo to turbo. Then it would be a "HEMI Under Glass."

The more we talked about it it sold me that it would have been very cool, and would go perfectly with all the tribute things done to the car. If I could find a scrap hood I might play around with the idea.

I remember the original rear engine Hurst HEMI Cuda' well, it was a big thing when I was in school - I think we all built that model. Jay Leno rolled it when he drove it Hell of a wheel stander

He must be getting up in age.

I cannot imagine how a stacked race prep hemi in action sounded!

Actually Bob Riggle was driving the car when it rolled, Jay Leno was along for the ride. Last I heard, the damage is all gone like nothing ever happened. Lesson: Don't drive a wheel stander on a banked oval track, lol.

I saw it run once, maaaaaaaaaaaany moons ago (mid '80?) at W.I.R. over in Kaukauna WI along side Bill "Maverick" Golden in his Lil Red Wagon. A memory I'll never forget. A buddy raced a '65 Satellite and we were lucky enough to be parked right next to both of them in the pits. Both were very nice guys.
