We regularly get a heavy rain on radar and not a drop touches the ground.

I've seen that also. Rain on radar but the humidity level is so low, it evaporates before reaching the ground. Weather is a strange thing. The one I hate however is "no chance of rain, it'll be clear and sunny today, all day", and then it pours that afternoon. Makes me nervous about taking the Aspen to work every time I hear that on the forecast in the morning.

More than once I've been caught out with a no rain sunny all day forecast. Get on a communications tower climb and have to get down as fast as possible when nearby lightning starts suddenly. Not a good time. One star. Would not recommend.

Took the Vette out and ran into a problem,,,,, The engine just fell flat and would not run, the oil pressure was up ~ 50. Later this week after some tests at the VA I'll pull the MSD blaster and test it; there is a procedure on YouTube. I pulled two plugs on each side and they are soaked with fuel and pitch black. So definitely the plugs are fouled and need to be replaced. The radiator fluid is green - so hopefully the head gaskets are OK. If I can get it running I need to get a look at the oil - hopefully no chocolate milk, but I bet it is fuel loaded.

Well hopefully it's nothing but a simple failure. Oil change may be in order regardless.
