Have the systems charged and then take time throughout the year to try and find a shop or company to make up the new rubber lines. I need to do the same as my lines are all from 1977 lol!

What would be the typical costs for custom extended length hoses?

When I did mine, I had the fittings and hoses mocked up and marked for position already. The shop brazed a couple adapter fittings to the stock H-valve blockand conensor block to adapt to the new hoses. Then they bubble crimped all the fittings. Cost about $225 for all that. As I said though, I had the hoses already made up at home. Figure I had another $100 or so in hoses and fittings I'd guess.

It was a nice afternoon so I took the Dodge for a ride around town. Got on it a couple times on some of the back roads - it is amazing how hard it pulls with the turbos. I would say it hits as hard as the Vette with the Procharger.

I'm going to need to play with the rear Calvert race shock settings to see if I can improve the ride.

Does the Caltracs have a harsh ride?

Not a harsh ride, just want to optimize them for the street.

I believe B3R set everything up for the strip, there was a lot of work done on the back half. When I lean on it you can feel the car squat down.

Saturday late afternoon I took it out around town, man I love driving this car!

Just found out there is a car show this weekend not 15 minutes from the house. Time to do some detailing - will be my first show in a very long time. My sister asked which car I was going to bring. The Dodge of course!

After looking at many of the regional shows down here it seems that most start around 4/5 in the afternoon to eight or nine. Makes perfect sense to me, I've been to too many shows and felt like I was fried by the end of the day. Many of the shows it would be so hot it was just miserable.

    Should be fun.

With my current condition using a regular pump floor jack has become difficult, so I ordered this last week. I'll let you know how it does.

That is nice! I go in for a CT scan the 29th. I guess I may be in line for another surgery. Seems once you have one it leads to many more. I am not down enough that I can't use a floor jack but I know one of these days...........
