The days to drive on the calendar are quickly whisking away....... Still can't figure out where this year went.

Going to the last cruise on Halloween. Supposed to be a decent day. At least no rain.

I plan to bring the Dodge to a Trunk-Or-Treat car show this weekend. By then all of Zeta should be out of here. Right now 20% of rain and high of 61.

60 and partially sunny for the trunk or treat this Saturday. 10% chance of rain. The deal starts at 2 and runs until 7 but probably will leave before that .

Finally got the power back on. Hurricane Zetta did a ton of damage in GA. Winds were so strong I lost multiple trees, one huge oak was torn out by the roots - it in turn took out several oak trees. Fortunately from what I've seen so far, the house came through OK. I have Progressive for home and auto, they already reached out to me to make sure everything is OK. Impressed with them so far.

WOW! Glad you're OK! And not in some communist state where their people go without power for weeks before crews can bring it back...

I saw similar damage here in the spring. they called it Straight Line Wind. Although there was nothing straight about it, it's the new thing to avoid paying tornado damage claims. One tree would get ripped out by the roots and knock down several others like dominos though. Seriously crazy stuff!

The oak trees were just like dominoes the way they came down. There is a ton of stored energy in the the way the trees fell on one another, if not cut properly, they can spring back on you. I will probably leave them as they are, they are back far enough in the woods so they will not we a concern.

Beautiful fall day today. Took the Dodge out for a ride on some of the backroads. Got home and thought, there is still an hour or so of light today so I took the Vette out to scare the locals
