Progressive send out a second adjuster. He spend a lot of time on the roof with my roofing guy and took photos with a drone. The said my roof is toast, on all faces (north, south, east and west) I had well over 20% surface damage. The gutter guards are all dented and they will need to be replaced. They also looked at the shed and pump house, they too have shingle damage.

He is doing his report for the "desk adjuster." Hope to hear something early next week. Good thing I do not have leaks or water damage, this process is taking longer than I anticipated.

Good news is that Progressive does not prorate the roof, all I will be responsible for is the $1K deductible.

On the scheduled to get a new roof on house and pump house, targeting the last week in June. Came in at 17,500 when of course my 1,000 deductible.

I'm impressed with Progressive. Wanted to stay with SF but they were much higher than the other companies. I was with them 41 years.....

    AND NO CLAIMS!

A little off topic, but has anyone else shopped on Sportsman Outdoor Superstore? They have great prices and fast free shipping. Hard to find items do come up but hit BUY as soon as they do, sells out almost immediately. I recently hit the buy button on some items rare as gold hen's teeth - as soon as I put them in the cart and looked back at the site they were sold out.

Monday if the weather is decent I'm going to a local shop that was recommended to me to have new AC (rubber) lines made. It is too dang hot/humid to cruise around without AC.

I tend to agree with you. Twenty or thirty years ago I was fine without A/C but not anymore. Must be a getting old thing

if you send your hoses to cold hose.com they can rebuild them and mail them back to you. If you have a retrofit system they might sell what you need on their website.

They said a hose company is directly across the street; so I'll let them evac the system and make the hoses.

before I bring the car to them I'll take off the front cover since the drier is behind the grill -- remember we relocated it. I'll also tape the paint where the hoses were routed through and under the passenger fender well.
