I think if I move again I will have an estate sale rather than pack and move. Then move so a simple small ranch on 10 acres with a monster garage/barn!

My brother did that when he went to Florida some years ago. Sold about everything and then bought new when he moved in the new place.

I was planning on installing four LED ceiling lights in the garage on the other side of the main beam, but wanted to try some high output LED bulbs in the garage door opener (x4) first.

Amazon had 20w 5000K 200W equivalent bulbs for a decent price, four for $21.15 USD. It perfectly lights the four corners of the garage, so I see no need in installing an additional four lights on the other side of the beam. I found 6500K LED T8 48" bulbs for the existing fluorescent lights, just ordered them from Lowes.

LED bulbs are great! I prefer the look of the 2700k but for the garage, what you choose will work well!

I ordered the 6500K daylight 48" tubes for the existing fixtures. I prefer bright white lighting, especially with the tan walls. They should arrive Wednesday.

Another bonus to LED is that bugs are not drawn to them.

I noticed the bug thing with my outdoor lights. The LED ones have no bugs, the incandesent have bugs.

Must be an LED color thing. I have bugs around mine, but I think I went for a warmer color. Could be worth buying a different one to try.

At work the outside LED lights do attract bugs but maybe not as many as the incandescent did.
