They claim the health care system is overwhelmed with patients. Really? I walked in, they did the temp test, etc before letting me go in the complex. Sent me to the lab waiting area, where there were a whole 2 people waiting, 5 minutes later they called me in, did the swab deal and off i went. Didn't look too overhwhelmed to me, and I had the results about 28 hours later. Granted, it's one of 2 huge medical complexes in this city, and they're really good medical comlexes, but still...................

You can`t take a snapshot of something and decide that to be what is really going on.

That's about 2 hours faster than the last time I was in an ER with someone who had a broken bone and open wound.

It's almost like there are lies circulating...

I realize that 77rr2x4 I know it isn't like that everywhere and at all times. The test was done in the clinic section. There's a huge clinic, a diagnostic and treatment center and hospital all in one gigantic building. I've only had to go to the ER twice (thankfully) but both times they took me in right away and within minutes were on the job. Then again, both times were literally life and death and both those times, I was very thankful. Otherwise I most likely wouldn't be here right now typing this. As I said, we have excellent health care facilities here. Every kind of doctor, test, lab work and specialists are available 24/7. The other one on the west side is pretty much the same deal. Only downside is, it's easy to get lost in that place, lol!

I heard on the radio this morning, it probably won't be a white Christmas. Yeah I know, Christmas without snow is kind of a bummer but you don't have to shovel bummers and they don't salt them either. A guy I work with had a good thought. He said it could snow on Dec 24th and then all melt on the 26th. PERFECT, lol.

Supposed to be high and dry yet, at least until next Sunday and highs in the 30's or even low 40's (avg is high 20's). There hasn't been a spec of precip, snow or otherwise for quite a few days now. I cleaned my Dakota a couple days before Thanksgiving and it's still spotless. Works for me! Now, if only this dry weather would continue until sometime next May. I say May and not April because, some of the biggest snowstorms we've had came in April. Then again, we've had huge snows in May also (one year 22" around May 15th or so).
